What a Bereavement Doula Does
A bereavement doula is not a counselor, therapist, or medical provider.
Instead, I offer emotional support, practical guidance, compassionate presence, and evidence-informed resources as you navigate the unimaginable.
My role is to walk beside you, helping create space for your grief while honoring your baby and your family's wishes.
Is This the Support You're Looking For?
-
You value working with a Certified Bereavement Doula whose training includes both practical grief support and a Catholic understanding of the dignity of every life, from conception onward.
-
You want an advocate who understands both the practical and emotional realities of pregnancy and infant loss.
-
You appreciate faith-informed care that honors the dignity of every baby and every family.
-
You want someone who can simply be present, without trying to fix your grief.
-
You value compassionate, evidence-informed guidance during an overwhelming time.
-
You want your partner and loved ones to feel supported as well.
Support is Available Today
If you are experiencing pregnancy or infant loss today, you don't have to face it alone. While I'm completing my bereavement doula training and am not yet accepting clients, I never want a family to leave this page without knowing where to find compassionate support. No one should have to navigate pregnancy or infant loss without care. If you are experiencing a loss today, I encourage you to reach out to your healthcare team, local pregnancy loss support organizations, or one of the trusted resources below for immediate care and support.
While I continue preparing to serve families in this ministry, I pray that every family experiencing loss finds compassionate companions for the road ahead.
Your baby is real. Your baby's life matters. Your baby is loved.
This page represents a ministry I'm preparing for—not because grief can be fixed, but because no family should have to walk through it alone.
